Summary

Hydrogen is a widely produced raw material, but today it is mainly used in industry. Is it likely to become a commonly used fuel?

Currently, every major car company is working to design of vehicles adapted for hydrogen supply. The current lack of hydrogen refueling infrastructure is mainly due to problems related to H2 transport and storage, which have a direct impact on the high investment costs of building dedicated infrastructure. Although the European Union promotes this type of solutions as part of the promotion of alternative fuels.

The coming years will be a major test for hydrogen, especially hydrogen storage technologies. Are we going to face development of H2 powered car fleet and a massive development of refuelling infrastructure?
Let's keep our fingers crossed for a H2 in economy and society as a common fuel.
