How to finance the energy transformation and bring Poland closer to achieving the goals of climate neutrality? PCHET 2021 Hydrogen Conference will be held on October 4th and 5th, in the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park. The event has been organized continuously since 2018 and is another step on the way to popularize hydrogen as an alternative to fossil fuels.
Hydrogen is the best showcase of the energy transformation of the 21st century. The increased use of hydrogen could be a significant step towards a climate-neutral Europe, a target that the EU wants to achieve by 2050.
"Hydrogen has the potential to accelerate the global energy transformation, thus helping to combat increasing climate change. The use of green hydrogen is a huge potential for Poland and the whole world" - says Sławomir Halbryt, President of the Council, Regional Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce
More than 30 speakers from Poland and Europe, will present forecasts for the development of the hydrogen industry. European Investment Bank experts will present the possibilities of financing hydrogen projects. The event will facilitate the exchange of experiences with representatives of leading companies in the dynamically developing and innovative hydrogen market.
”An important challenge for the hydrogen industry is also reliable education and the need to build awareness about the necessary changes among energy producers, its consumers, and the government. Solving this issue may turn out to be a turning point for the future generations” - says Marek Foltynowicz, an expert at the Cluster of Hydrogen Technologies.
The PCHET 2021 conference is a recurring event, organized by the Cluster of Hydrogen Technologies, which is coordinated by the Regional Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce.
"The aim of the conference and the role of our Cluster is to conduct activities integrating many environments for the benefit of climate protection and building a zero-emission economy. Our decisions affect the climate and the environment around us, as well as the condition of Polish enterprises and the development of the Polish economy” - summarized Piotr Maksyś, Managing Director of the Cluster.
